Watching Congressmen request autographs of Bush is quite revealing….

Inspiration: First True Job Of A Leader? →
I heard Hillary Clinton speak a few years ago.  I remember feeling inspired by what she said.  I can’t even remember her message, but I remember feeling uplifted and motivated to change the world. Hillary Clinton does not normally have this effect on me.  I strongly disagree with the big-government policies that she is proposing.  The only way I’d ever vote for her is if she’s running against...

Another Solid Week →
In the last 6 days, I’ve flossed 6 times and worked out 3 times. Congratulate me. If you’re not using Joe’s Goals to track your New Year’s Resolutions, then you’re stupid and incompetent.

Romney’s advisors: “raise taxes” ??? →
We recorded the Republican debate in Florida.  Did anyone else hear the mysterious whisper when Romney was asked about Reagan’s record?  Very mysterious… Watch it here. It almost sounded like Romney’s advisers were whispering in his ear?  Earpiece? Reminded me of that little box protruding from Bush’s back 4 years ago.

New York Gay Man Of The Year! →
My sister’s co-worker Dana Steele Green needs your vote. Genre Magazine, a gay men’s magazine, is running a competition for “Genre Man Of The Year.” Dana Steele Green is currently in 6th place overall. He needs your vote. Why should you vote for him? Here’s a few reasons: Because my sister says he’s a cool guy. Because he works in the Empire State Building, which is infested with mice. ...

This is a DEATH THREAT… →
Greta and I are watching Season 3 of Lost. In the past, I have made multiple vows to never watch this show again, but I always come back. I have to know the secret behind all of these mysteries. A plane crashes on a deserted island. A mysterious black smoke attacks and kills people. Numbers must be entered into a computer or some electromagnetic pulse goes off and ships/planes will crash-land on...

Ron Paul Videos →
Man oh man, I’m conflicted about Ron Paul. If you are interested in learning more about his positions, you simply have to watch freeme.tv. There are hundreds of hours of footage, including interviews, speeches, debates, commercials, and fan creations. I would highly recommend watching the interview held on Google’s campus on July 13. Watch it here (or if you’re reading on Facebook, click here). ...

Goodbye Paul, Hello Romney? →
I’ve been doing some thinking about Ron Paul lately. I agree with many of the principles that he stands for, but there are several trouble spots that prevent me from getting fully behind his candidacy. My Problems With Ron Paul’s Platform: Racist comments made in newsletters published under his name in the 80’s and 90’s. (related post) Objection to free trade agreements: here. Note: Paul is...

Join Me In Congratulating Myself… →
Please join me in congratulating myself on the rollout of my new aStore: Herbietown Tested, Herbietown Approved. This store is going to change your life, and it’s going to change the world. You see, you people envy me, and that’s why you’re reading this right now. “How does he do it?” you wonder. That wondering takes a lot of time, and it costs our economy money. Herbietown Tested, Herbietown...

Ron Paul a bigoted conspiracy theorist? →
Thanks to Marc Andreesen, I finally got around to reading the New Republic piece on Ron Paul’s old newsletters, which contain all sorts of bigotry and conspiracy. A few excerpts: This newsletter describes Martin Luther King Jr. as “a world-class adulterer” who “seduced underage girls and boys” and “replaced the evil of forced segregation with the evil of forced integration.” In the course of...

Barack Is My Inspiration… →
Barack Obama is my inspiration… …to work out. Two of my colleagues, Ted and Paul, saw Barack Obama on the treadmill at the W in New York City. If Barack Obama can find time in his schedule to jump on the treadmill for 30 minutes, WTF is wrong with me? I’m not so interested in his politics, but Barack has personally inspired me to exercise. Note: I’m not doing too bad on my other New Year’s...

Spanish Speaking Tuck Profit Readers…. →
…you will love this. Apparently this professor of economics at Centro de Estudios Económicos de El Colegio de México read the Ken French Tuck Profit article that I wrote last year, and wasn’t sure what to think.  I know enough Spanish to get the gist of his comments, but maybe there’s an underlying level of irony that I’m not picking up. Can any native speakers tell me whether this guy was...
