Comics Teach Kids About Money →
I love comics.
My friend Tim introduced me to graphic novels 2 years ago with Watchmen. I’m reading From Hell right now. They’re both serious works of literature by Alan Moore, and I’d highly recommend them.
Anyway, the economist Greg Mankiw recently posted a link to these comic books from the Federal Reserve. I can’t wait to teach Jack about our financial system using comic books!

Mice in the Empire State Building →
The Empire State Building is infected with mice. And I’m not talking about the basement.
My sister works on the 37th floor. That’s really really high up.
What I want to know is: how did mice make their way to the 37th floor?
How long did it take to climb that high?
Did successive generations of mice continue their ancestors’ dreams, or did one daring mouse (and its mouse spouse) make the...
